With a New Year, comes new resolutions and what better way to start than to ensure you are getting all the nutrients you need!
This is one of my favourite detox smoothies - I normally have one every Sunday morning after a weekend of eating out and indulging in treats.
Here is what you will need:
- 1 blender
- 3 kale leaves
- 3 celery stocks
- 1 apple (green or red)
- 1/2 stick of cucumber
- 1/2 cup milk (or almond milk)
- Handful of ice cubs
Instructions
1. Cut all of your greens up into small pieces
2. Place in blender & liquify
3. Throw in your milk and ice cubes
4. Blend again
and VOILA! You have a perfectly green detox smoothie!
