Here is what you will need (per 4 people):
- 3 white potatoes
- 1 tbsp of flour
- 3 tbsp of butter
- 3 tbsp of milk
- 1 cup of grated cheese of your choice (I used a mix of mozzarella, cheddar and swiss)
- 3 tbsp parmesan cheese
- 4-5 thick slices of ham
- 2 containers of apple sauce (snack sized)
- Dash of brown sugar
1. Preheat oven fo 350C
2. Grease baking dish with butter
4. Top your potatoes with 1 cup of grated cheese
If you do not already have cooked potatoes lying around in your fridge - pop in the oven for approximately 30 minutes while preparing your ham/rest of your meal - take out after 30 minutes and continue with instructions
7. Add apple sauce on top of ham so it is mostly coated
8. Add a dash of brown sugar on top layer of casserole
and VOILA! A leftover special! The apple sauce, brown sugar, ham, cheese & potatoes all come nicely together to form a perfect casserole!!!
